CLASSES: KARUNA REIKI

Susan Pease Banitt, LCSW is an Usui/Holy Fire Reiki Master and Holy Fire Karuna Reiki® practitioner.  Her teachers are Colleen Benelli and William Rand of the International Center for Reiki Training. Susan offers Usui/Holy Fire Reiki I and II Classes, as well as Advanced Reiki Training and Reiki III/Master Classes.

Holy Fire 3 Karuna Reiki® is the highest level of training in the Usui/Holy Fire system. Karuna is a Sanskrit word that means compassionate action with an understanding that this compassion transcends the human 3D reality and exists multi-dimensionally and in divine nondual spaces within us and around us.

There are nine symbols taught in the Karuna Reiki class. Nearly half of them work directly with trauma in various ways: intergenerational, past life, and spiritual abuses for example. Karuna Reiki heals the various koshas of the human being: physical body, energy, body, cognitive mind, higher mind and the body which is experienced as bliss or spiritual body. As a trauma therapist I have never found a more powerful method than Karuna Reiki for addressing traumatic experience quickly and with a minimum of distress.

Holy Fire 3 Karuna Reiki®

This class is suitable for therapists, physicians, nurses, yoga teachers, healers, intuitives and anyone who works with traumatic stress. Lay people are welcome to attend; it is not a requirement to be a professional for this class. It includes ethical considerations for professional practice and best practice techniques to blend with your setting. CEUs may be available.

Learning Objectives:

  • You will be able to understand, describe and teach all of the Holy Fire 3 Karuna Reiki® symbols.

  • You will be given hands on practice of giving and receiving the symbols in session

  • You will be able to use the meditations for self-healing and to remove blocks (granthis) within yourself using the symbols

  • You will be able to conduct ignitions of Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki® to initiate other practitioners as Karuna Reiki Masters.

  • You will understand the various ways dark energies and/or entities can appear in a client’s energy field, what that means and how to address them from a place of divine love and forgiveness

  • You will be able to work with splitting and dissociative disorders from a multidimensional shamanic Reiki healing perspective that is life affirming and non-shaming.

The Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki® Master workshop is a three-day intensive. After completing this class, you will be a full Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki® Master, able to practice all the techniques and give all the ignitions to Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki®. Manual is included with class.

Pre-requisite. You must have been a Usui Reiki Master for at least six months to take Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki® Master training.
