CREATING YOUR TRAUMA TOOL KIT: A BOOK STUDY WEEKEND WORKSHOP
Restore yourself with an intensive dive into healing trauma based on Susan Pease-Banitt’s book The Trauma Tool Kit: Healing PTSD From The Inside Out.
All levels of the human being need healing when in recovery from PTSD and traumatic stress. A few hours of therapy, supplements or a regular yoga class can help, but in order to fully restore body/mind functioning requires a multidimensional approach to healing. Join us for an in-depth study of The Trauma Tool Kit: Healing PTSD From the Inside Out where you will not only learn new approaches to healing but get a chance to practice them. Topics to be covered include neuroscience, yogic techniques, mindfulness, energy medicine, cognitive strategies, regular self-care practices and much more!
The weekend class will be held at Lotus Heart Counseling. There are many eateries nearby for lunch break, or feel free to bring lunch with you (sorry, no refrigerator available).
12 CEUs are available for Oregon social workers. 12 CEs are available for Naturopathic Physicians.
Price is $150 for the weekend. Price for CEU’s is $200.
First meeting will run 7-9pm on Friday, April 22nd, 2016. Saturday will be 9-5:00 with an hour lunch break and 15 minute breaks. Sunday will run 9-1.
